HARRISBURG – One of America’s largest outpourings of national grief occurred when Abraham Lincoln died on April 15, 1865. One week later, on April 21, his nine-car funeral train steamed out of Washington, D.C., stopping in the Pennsylvania cities of York, Harrisburg and Philadelphia, for what became one of most historic train journeys in American history. Lincoln’s open coffin was placed in state at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from the evening of April 21 through the morning of April 22.

HARRISBURG – Legislation designed to make sentencing tougher on criminals who hide their faces during the commission of a robbery passed the House this week, said the bill’s author, Rep. Mike Regan (R-York/Cumberland). The bill, if enacted, would specifically call upon the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing to increase the sentence range for a person who commits a robbery while concealing, or trying to conceal, all or part of his or her face during a robbery.

![Legislation Allowing Pharmacists to Offer Flu Shots to Children Passes House, Grove Says]()
HARRISBURG – Legislation which would increase access by allowing pharmacists to offer flu vaccines to children ages 9 and older, with parental permission, passed the House today, Rep. Seth Grove (R-York), the author of the bill, said. House Bill 182, if eventually signed into law, would also allow licensed pharmacy interns under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to administer the vaccine.
