Allegheny County Lawmakers to Discuss Legislation Regarding Bail Decisions Following High-Profile Murder Cases

WHAT: Reps. Jeremy Shaffer (R-Allegheny), Valerie Gaydos (R-Allegheny) and Natalie Mihalek (R-Allegheny/Washington) are hosting a press conference to introduce and discuss legislation that would strengthen the bail process to protect all Pennsylvanians.

The lawmakers will be joined by Kelly Rae Robertson, a former Allegheny County Court employee, in order to talk about Pennsylvania bail laws that currently allow the release of dangerous offenders who pose a threat to victims and our communities.
